Darlene (Atkinson) Jeter

On February 11, 2019, Darlene (Atkinson) Jeter of Newton, MA passed away. Mrs. Jeter was a trailblazer and co-founder of disposal company Jet-A-Way, Inc. Mrs. Jeter was the wife of the late Eddie Jeter. Mrs. Jeter was the beloved mother of Anthony Hendon of,OH, Eddie Duane Jeter of Hyannis, MA, Rolondo “Ronnie” Jeter of Roxbury, MA, Eric Jeter of Passiac, NJ, and Jesse Jeter and his wife Denise of Jamaica Plain, MA. Dear sister of LaMont Atkinson. She is survived by loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family and a host of friends. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Myrtle Baptist Church, 21 Curve Street, Newton, MA. Visiting with the family will be at the church at 10:00 AM. The burial will be at Newton Cemetery.
