Carmen Karene Johnson

JOHNSON, Carmen Karene (McGlothern), 68 of Hyde Park MA, was given her heavenly admission to abide in the presence of the Almighty on January 29, 2019. 

Loving wife of Willie L. Johnson, Beloved mother of Gisela Johnson of Boston, MA; Estevan Johnson (Dawn) of Philadelphia, PA; Roderick Jackson (Zipporah), Lartha Coley (Boris), Darin Johnson all of Atlanta GA; Denita Johnson-Miller of Cambridge, MA. Proud grandmother of Quandel, Estevan(EJ), Diamond, DaVaughn Myles, Eboni, Boris (BJ), Daria, Dania, Kito, Kiana, Rashaad, Daija, Troy. She leaves a host of family and friends. Carmen was proceeded in death by her devoted parents James J. McGlothern Sr. and Anne L. McGlothern as well as her Adored brother James J. McGlothern Jr.  Carmen will be forever lovingly remembered by her love of family, books, music and her homemade applesauce.

Celebration of Life will convene at Morning Star Baptist Church, 1257 Blue Hill Avenue, Mattapan, MA 02128. Wake to be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 10AM and services to follow at 11AM. Internment to assemble at Fairview Cemetery, 45 Fairview Avenue, Boston, MA 02136.
