Alonso Welch

Stephen’s life began October 4,1962 in Boston MA to (Late) Maybelle Warfield-Welch-Johnson (Baltimore, MD) and (Late) Alfonso Welch (Westfield, AL).
Stephen was predeceased by brothers (Late) Alphonso “Ronnie” Welch Jr. (Boston, MA) and (Late) Lindsey Walker Jackson (Chandler, AZ).
Stephen received his education from the Boston Public School System.
Stephen always kept himself neat and clean in appearance. His pride and joy were his collection of watches.
Stephen held several positions throughout his lifetime, he worked as a truck driver, a laborer,
a machinist and a technician.   
There were many things in life that Stephen enjoyed.  He enjoyed outdoor activities like fishing and camping. His favorite sport was basketball, but he enjoyed watching Patriots games. Stephen enjoyed entertaining guest at his home, listening to music and cooking on the grill.  He enjoyed playing games on his video console.

Stephen leaves to cherish his memories his brothers Lawrence Welch (Boston, MA), Alfonso Welch (Cambridge, MA), Gary Barrett (Boston, MA), Tyrone Barrett (Boston, MA), his sisters Almedia Welch-Jones (Boston, MA), Diane Welch (Brockton, MA) and Mary “Angela” Winston (Fall River, MA).
Stephen is survived by his daughters Niyia McConnell (Randolph, MA), Tamika Maloof (GA), Jessica Welch (Boston, MA) and Patrice Welch (Boston, MA).
Stephen leaves to cherish his memory seven granddaughters, two grandsons and two great-grandsons, and a host of nieces and nephews and many relatives and friends.
