Murphy, Minnie Mae of Newton, January 14, 2015. Wife of the late Oscar Murphy. Beloved mother of Carrie Evans, Ralph (Charlotte) Murphy, Oscar (Geneva) Murphy, Jr., Lewis Murphy, Nellie Smith, Marilyn ,Patsy and Bernardine Murphy, David (Kanako) Murphy, Lorraine (Peter) Johnson, Pamela and Allen Murphy and the late Maria and Ruby Murphy. She leaves two adopted daughters Janice Jones and Bridget Edwards, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. Funeral service Friday at 11 AM at the Davis Funeral Home, 654 Cummins Hwy., Mattapan. Visiting with the family at 10 AM. Burial St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale.
