Cornell Grasty

Cornell Grasty, 65, of Framingham, MA peacefully passed away on Friday September 1, 2017 at Metrowest Hospital.
He is pre-deceased by his parents, the late William Grasty and Margaret Manley; his step-father, Cleveland "Sonny" Manley Sr., siblings, William Grasty Jr., Florence Payne (and husband Alvin), Lorraine Ellcock (and husband Leroy) and Vertie Grasty.
Cornell was born on August 28, 1952 in Cambridge, MA, where he was raised and spent most of his childhood, before his parents purchased a home and moved the family to Sudbury, MA.
He attended and graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School before heading off to college at North Adams University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts.
After graduation,Cornell moved back to the area and eventually found himself in Marlboro, MA, where he later got married and started his family. He was a man of many hats and worked many jobs but his demonstrated passion was to use his strong entrepreneurship to start the company of his dreams.
Cornell is survived by his six children, Jason Archie of Springfield, Tania Calder of Framingham, MA Janelle Grasty of Framingham, MA, Cornell Jr. (CJ) of Framingham, MA, Tyler Grasty (Chanell) of Worcester, MA and Selina Calder of Framingham, MA and their mother, Grace Calder ; his grandchildren Irie, Aaliyah, Imani, Nazire, Daysia, Javian, and Nyana; one great grandchild, Iylani; his siblings: Leonard (Lenny) Roberts and his wife Lydia of Boston MA, Joseph Grasty and his wife Denise of Springfield MA, Evalina Evans of Marlboro MA and Cleveland Manley Jr and wife Dana of Sachse TX.
He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, (one that he even raised as his own, Chantel Hardy of Framingham,MA), nephews and cousins.
